As I mentioned in my latest You Tube Video, I have braved the Maxi Dress. Yes, all 5foot 3 of me!! :) This dress is a size too big for me and its supposed to be empire line but as you can see from the picture it's just dangling. I need to go find one that fits well!! It's also quite low cut so I'll have to be careful :)

Thats a gorgeous dress - can you get it taken in a bit so it fits you better? Not that it doesn't look lovely now, but you know what I mean!

Great blog! I love the look of maxi dresses but unfortunately I haven't found one in stores that is the appropriate length for me. I am 5'3 as well. For you the empire waist is definitely the way to go, I'm sure it would be a quick alteration in the straps to pull the top up. The color and pattern are beautiful.

I would love a pretty dress like the one you have! I'm only around 5"2 so i'm not sure if it would look right as I am quite curvy. This one suits you so well though and the colours work well with your hair and skin tone :)
