I think I might actually be chilled to the core! That is a miracle for someone who never switches off :)
I´m still trying to catch my breath, My hotel is on a really steep hill appropriately named ´Cardiac Hill´...which has nearly resulted in cardiac arrest on numerous occasions! It took me 10 mins to get up to reception to the nearest computer with all the heat stops. I must be very unfit!
I´ve been lying by the pool today readin my book(The Rapture). Jumping in and out of the pool to cool down. Thanks for all your tips on bringing down the sunburn, they worked a charm.
Ah nostalgic moment... Mariah Carey Always be my Baby is on in the hotel reception. That was my abcolute favourite song when I was 14, I used to sing it in the shower into my shampoo bottle :) Haven´t heard it in years!
I´m off to McDonlads in a few minutes to use their wi-fi so I can upload photos of my purchases, long overdue!
I´m also planning some shopping. The beauty shops seem to stock Dior, Clinique, Helena Rubenstein, Armani etc. Any ´can´t live without´ products you recommend??
Talk to you tomorrow, hopefully with photos this time (major downside of island life)

I got the Dior Addict Lip Glow colour awakening lip balm today, which was £18.
Its one of these ones that changes colour so that it suits your skintone and I must say I'm very impressed, which is lucky given how expensive it was! LOL
The packaging is gorgeous (not that it should matter, but its pretty and pink and silver!) and its a really nice texture, it doesn't disappear really quickly and you do feel like its actually moisturising.
If they've got a tester you can try on the back of your hand you should give it a go, it gives you a good idea of the texture.
Almost forgot - it smells lovely too.
I'd also recommend Clinique's Sparkle Skin Body Scrub - the one in the tube, not the pot. Its a lovely minty smell, great for those mornings when you can't be arsed!
Glad to hear you're having a relaxing time, I know what its like as someone who never switches off either! xx - Av July 29, 2009 at 10:54 AM

I picked up Dior Forever, Dior Iconic mascara and a Chanel powder as I couldn't justify the price of buying them at home and they were so much cheaper! Have you tried Estee Lauder skin care either, their stuff is amazing esp the Advanced night repair and the Pore minimizer!

Av - Thanks Avril! I´m heading out shopping this evening, I´ll check out dior. It never entered my heads about their mascaras being cheaper. I´ve never tried estee lauder but I´m on the look out for some skin care products as my last birthday put me at the ´take care of your skin´ age :) Thanks hun! x
